About Us

Elite PMHNP was founded in 2025 by Lisa Russell and Lacey Maude. After graduating from their own nurse practitioner programs and exploring existing board review programs, a need was identified: a clean, clear board review program that is easy to understand and has additional print resources available. Other programs can make it difficult to follow along and take notes, or are no better than reading from a textbook. With Lacey's gift for note-taking and Lisa's artistry with putting those notes into visual aids, Elite PMHNP has created a premier PMHNP board preparation class series that is sure to produce success for its students. Furthermore, Elite PMHNP strives to take care of it's Elites after passing boards as well, helping to navigate the complicated world of seeking state licensure, DEA certification, and all of the things that follow after board certification.

Lisa Russell graduated as a diploma RN from Jameson Hospital School of Nursing

in New Castle, PA in 2012. Upon discovering her love for psychiatry, she decided 

to go back to school in to pursue her PMHNP. She completed her RN-BSN program 

online at Western Governor's University in 2019 before continuing to Walden 

University and graduating with her MSN - PMHNP in 2021. She is currently working

at an outpatient psychiatric private practice. She is married with four children and 

enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids compete in their various

sports, and watching college football games.
